Not dead yet!

Yesterday was party day! We had an amazing time celebrating Jonathan's survival of pancreatitis.

I'm not dead yet! I feel fine!

Showing Olive some treats while waiting for the party to start.

It was the first time in either of our lives that we got a keg. Even though Jonathan couldn't partake in any adult beverages, he got to experience tapping the keg.

Bam!
I didn't take many pictures throughout the night, as I was busy hanging out. And I'll trade a smattering of pictures for participating in the party anytime. So just imagine all of these with more people and more chaos (in a good way) as the evening progressed.

More party people
Jonathan grilled a few million hot dogs and hamburgers, we had every side dish you can imagine, and later there was even some marshmallow roasting and s'mores eating around the fire pit.

Found this one on my camera this morning. Hi Al!
We played Trivial Pursuit (the party version), Cards Against Humanity (can't have a party without it these days), and lots and lots of Rock Band. Evelyn loved being the lead singer and completely disregarding whatever song was playing so that she could belt out "Let it Go" (from Frozen) over the mic.

Or, if you're Evelyn, "Rocket Band"
Jonathan and I gave a short and sweet "Thank You" speech and I didn't lose it, which is good. In talking about said speech with Neil before the party, I got all choked up and cried and cried just imagining looking at all of our friends and family here who helped us so much when Jonathan was sick... let alone talking to said people. But Jonathan went first and it was good. I was, and am, so incredibly grateful to everyone.
