The Beagle update!

We learned early this morning that our puppy is ready for us to meet her! We hope that it can be this weekend, but if not then it will be sometime this week. We also get to see pictures! I'll introduce you to the litter.

This Punkin, the mom. She was rescued from a shelter in Winston-Salem and the day after her rescue she had her litter!

Here's Bruno, the only male in the litter. He's also the largest in the litter.

Here are two of the girls, Bippity (l) and Boppity (r). Um, adorable.

And this is the last girl, Boo. You can really see the Spaniel in Boo. They say she's really quite different from the rest. Can a litter have multiple fathers? That's the blog question of the day.

So they obviously don't know who the father is here, and I'm not very good at looking at a dog and knowing breeds. They've got kinda droopy faces (ADORABLE) and their snouts are a bit shorter than you see on some beagles. However, puppy snouts are always a little small.

Well, the important thing is that we're leaning toward Boppity right now. We really like Bippity and Boppity. We'll have to decide after we meet them!

And we get to bring home our little bundle of Beagle joy on December 29th!

I forgot you posted about the puppies. And I agree about leaning towards Boppity. Much more adorable =)

Looking forward to it.

Boppity is a cutie. They all look so sad, as if to say, "Please take me home!"

Maybe you need four.

I think you need them all. And, I think that you are certainly responsible enough and capable enough to own 4 puppies. How will you ever decide?

Are you going to keep the name?

No, we're renaming our puppy Olive. For a while it was going to be Molly, which is a name I've always loved but Jonathan rejected as a child name. But then one day we both just decided that Olive was what we wanted. :)
