Evelyn in 6,000 words.

At her first dance recital in October. She was pretty nervous and didn't take the stage with her class at first.

She warmed up to the idea in time for the whole-school finale.

Find the Evelyn!

Passing time on a rainy, cold Sunday afternoon - she asked for straight hair.

My girl.

Amazing how much longer it is when the curl is gone. But I still love the curl more.

And a short update on Jonathan: He's in the hospital again. He was admitted through the ED last Sunday and was then released Monday night after having the first cystogastrostomy. Then he started throwing up and having a fever, so it was back to the ED on Wednesday morning and he was admitted again. He had another, longer endoscopic debridement procedure on Friday and they'll probably keep him in the hospital until after his third procedure (another endoscopic debridement of the cyst) on Wednesday. Meantime, I'm not allowed in the hospital because the kids have Hand, Foot, and Mouth Disease and  I could be carrying it. The good times are killing me.

But I bet the kids are glad to have mama around for awhile. Hope the HFM goes away soon. Spoil the little ones while you can.

Hey Dee, thanks! I am now allowed to visit, because the kids have healed enough to go back to school. So I'm going to see him tonight!
