I'm lowering my blogging expectations for a spell, so you get a list. And no pictures. Here's what's been happening:
- Jonathan's been back at work for about a week.
- He gets tired really easily.
- He doesn't eat very much, so now he's drinking muscle milk and such to try to get nutrients and calories.
- He looks much different than he did before. I'm not sure exactly how much weight he's lost, but it's enough that I call him Skeletor. (Don't worry; he doesn't really look like Skeletor. We just like to give each other fun names like when he called me Troll Feet when I was pregnant and had cankles.)
- The kids are doing well.
- My mom's here being the magical cleaning fairy that moms and mom-in-laws can be. Whereas I'm used to walking into rooms to find unexplained messes ALL THE TIME, I now find rooms curiously cleaner and more organized than they were when I left them last.
- K-State won against TCU in a last-minute field goal and I didn't see it, but it made me smile.
- It's raining.
- I read this book, which is written by the author of this blog, which is known for this two-part post, which you should read. Yep, I said should.
- My co-worker introduced me to Spotify.
- I read this book.
- I realized that therapy is hard. (It's one thing to know this in the academic sense and quite another to, you know, actually go through it yourself. But I'm pretty sure my therapist is the best ever in the history of time, so we don't have to worry about a good therapeutic alliance.)
- I took back the library books.
- I floss my teeth like at least twice a day, because I've always thought that people who floss regularly really have their shit together. Sometimes I floss three times a day. I realize this is probably not recommended. But see aforementioned totally logical reasoning.
Okay that's all I can remember for now. Time for coffee.
