Mister Gideon is three months old.
I went back and read my post about Mouse when she was three months old and was amazed by how early you can see glimpses of personality. At three months, I said Evelyn was, "Serious. A thinker." And two years later it holds.
Gideon is a happy baby. Calm. Pretty quiet. He gives out smiles like it's nothing. He giggles when his daddy tickles him, or when I'm changing his clothes and brush sensitive tickle spots. I'll have to get in on video for you - it's the best sound in the world.
Gideon is noticing his hands and feet more and he's thiiiiiis close to rolling over.
He loves his MeeMaw, who has been a lifesaver for us these past three months. He spends more time with her than with anyone else really, and I hope that they always have a special bond. There's something about the grandparent-grandchild relationship that is sacred to me and I hope Gideon and Evelyn can grow up knowing their grandparents and developing real relationships with them.
But I digress... Gideon is three months old. Unlike his sister, he's not even close to being paid for in full at this point. Instead we're on various payment plans with the hospital and physicians groups and we'll get him paid off in a few years thanks to his NICU stay. *Sigh* Well, we'll figure it out.
We are so grateful to have you, little GOB. Keep on smiling.
