Start 'em young.

On Valentine's Day, we hopped in the car and headed to Ikea. Gideon was nearly two weeks old - certainly time to introduce him to the wonders of Sweedish home goods!

It was also Terry's first trip to Ikea. She proved to be quite the shopper, getting a bunch of stuff and still spending less than twenty bucks. I did not fare so well in the spending department, as I dropped a pretty penny on my loot. But I did get Evelyn some nice cinnamon-colored sheets and a good white quilt. I tend to have the problem of finding something I sort of like at a really good price, and then looking just a bit more and finding what I really really like at a much higher price (that Ikea Stockholm stuff can be surprisingly pricey!). So it was with her quilt. But I like it.

Terry has been hard at work sprucing up the curtains for the kidlets' room, and soon we will be just a gallon of paint away from calling it done. I'll post pictures for you then!
