Maybe February?

Okay so my new goal is to make it to February. Not that I would particularly mind if Dos decided to make a move before then (hint, hint little baby)... but because it gives me a goal.

When I was in L&D on Wednesday night, my contractions were really quite regular. Not super strong or every four minutes or anything, but regular. Since then, not so much. I'm still having contractions, but I only had like 3 during my NST this morning. They're pretty inconsistent. Some are a bit stronger than others, but I can talk through all of them.

What I hope is my last 24-hour urine screen for a very very very long time resulted in normal protein levels, so that is good. And the amniotic fluid index was 11, which is higher than it was last week. Also good.

For today, then, all signs point to labor happening on its own and in its own time. Next week I have appointments on Monday and Thursday. I'm hoping that they let me go to work on Tuesday, because it's the final day of a reading foundations training I've been really enjoying and that would at least distract me for a bit!

I have been thinking about you a lot lately, and Facebook stalking you daily! I don't know if you happened to read my blogs when I was in "early labor" but I think the worst part was when they told me I'd be back in L&D 24 hours after they kicked me out, only to have Keaton FIVE DAYS LATER!! LOL... it seemed like it took forever, and nothing seemed to help it move along. Seems like the second I gave up, Keaton decided it was time to come out. Best of luck to you, you are almost done!! :)
