We had a double dose of Thanksgiving this year, spending Thursday with Adrian and Abby and Friday through Saturday morning at Amy and Josh's. Now we're home recovering from all the fun, and I'm baking a pumpkin pie and wishing we had hosted a dinner so I could eat leftovers!
Evelyn thoroughly enjoyed herself this year. She seemed to like turkey, but wanted nothing to do with mashed potatoes. Who says no to mashed potatoes?! Of course she was happy to eat as much zwieback as she could get her hands on, and all the cookies and pie.
We had fun playing with Linus and Madeline and Julia (no pictures taken at their place - dead batteries are to blame).
And, of course, we ate and ate and ate. Though I will say that I'm not a huge fan of my shrunken stomach thanks to Baby Dos. I could not stuff myself with nearly as much tasty food as I had hoped! I think next year will be my best year ever for Thanksgiving, because for the past three turkey days I've either been pregnant and pukey or I've had mono. So watch out, turkeys of 2012. I will eat you!
