I first fell in love with BabyLegs when I saw my nephew Linus wearing his skeleton legs (insert cute picture that I can't find right now here). I won a free pair at a baby fair, and I was gifted a pair by my awesome mother-in-law. And I had dreams of stocking up on BabyLegs when Evelyn started daycare - just collecting all sorts of fun ones in different blue designs. But my plans were foiled when I discovered that the blue options are sadly limited... and these puppies are at least $10 per pair.
So I decided to be brave and give the old DIY approach a second chance. (This after my "simple 10-minute dress" disaster of months ago ended with me and the sewing machine not even on speaking terms anymore.) I found what appeared to be a Chelsea-proof technique for DIY Baby Leg knockoffs here. I grabbed a two-pair set of knee-high navy socks at Target and I went for it.
And the results? Success! What Evelyn means to say here that might not quite come across in her expression is: "I LOVE THEM!" She learned that bottom lip sucking in thing from Linus, by the way ;)
