Getting better all the time.

Evelyn and I had our 2-week check ups today, and I must say that we are both pretty awesome.

Evelyn's news:
- Gained 6.5 oz. in 6 days - now weighs 6 lb. 4 oz.! Yaaay!
- Bilirubin was at 8 today. She's still slightly yellowish in the eyes and undertone of her skin, but a score of 8 is nothing to worry about.
- Noggin circumference: 14 inches- Height: 20 inches
- She showed off by peeing all over the exam table. She likes to wait to pee until her diaper is off. I think it's a mark of true genius because then she doesn't have to sit with a wet diaper.

My news:
- Lost 22 lb. in 2 weeks. Ridiculously awesome, because I'm now 4 lb. less than I was before I got pregnant.- Healing very well.

So I had a long, whiny, pukey pregnancy but I must say that labor and delivery were pretty awesome and the aftermath is really not bad at all (save for the lack of sleep, but I'm just talking about it physically now).

And we've gone from finger-feeding to bottle feeding when I need a little break (generally at night I'll have Jonathan take at least one feeding so I can sleep more). And Evelyn hasn't had any problems switching from bottle to nursing. She seems to like nursing more, if you ask me, but she'll take her milk however it comes. It's also super adorable to watch Jonathan feeding her.

LOVE the picture!! I would put that in bigger type if I could. :) Way to go!! No worries about the bottle thing, either- you need a break, too!
