Five and Twenty

Friday brought the 25-week mark. Approximately 15 to go, if all goes well! I am feeling okay - still nauseous to the point of tossing my cookies a few times each week, but that's much better than it used to be. I still have heartburn at some point every day. I think the baby wants to hang out up high compared to some others, which puts extra pressure on my stomach and makes digestion a bit of a chore. But I'm feeling him/her move around more and more, which makes me happy. Jonathan still hasn't felt a kick yet though!

We watched Away We Go last night. We saw in the theater over the summer and we both loved it enough to Netflix it and watch it again. Still so good. There's this scene where the main characters are on a trampoline talking about their wishes for their daughter and it's just beautiful. Jonathan and I were both in tears for quite a while after that. Jonathan said that he's ready for the baby to come, but I'm not so sure yet! I have to get prepared for birth, and of course I probably worry more about having the house ready for the baby too. It will happen.

School's pretty much over for the semester but I'm still trying to get hours in the clinic and in my school practicum, which keeps me busy during the week. Only one more week though and then we're in Kansas for nearly 2 weeks!

Oh I'm also getting a haircut. Weekly (ish) photos combined with pregnancy will do that to a person, I think. I just see my hair getting more and more lifeless and decide it's time for a change into something I can manage better.
