I didn't know I was pregnant?

Today marks 21 weeks and 3 days of pregnancy, and this switch back to standard time has really thrown a wrench in the whole belly photo project! Every time I get home and remember that I need a new picture, it's already pitch black outside! I'll work on it this week. But really I don't think much has changed. No laughing Buddha belly yet. It's odd that I can be 5 months pregnant and get by with the general public having no idea, and I must admit that I really do want a little bump. But I have to remember that our bodies are all different and we don't all carry babies in the same way.

I bought two baby-related things this weekend: a snoogle in the hopes of sleeping through the night without intense stabbing pains on various joints, and some plain white onesies and tees in teeny tiny baby sizes. It's funny because when I used to look at baby clothes, I would marvel at how small and cute they all were. This time, I was shocked at how large they seemed! I have a new perspective on baby size when considering the logistics involved with a person size x growing inside of and then being transported outside of me. Suddenly those 0-3 month shirts are shockingly large.

Not too much else has been happening around here. I have two full weeks left of school (with a short week for Thanksgiving in between) and still mountains of work to do before the semester ends, but I suppose it will all get done as it does. We're looking forward to spending Thanksgiving in Asheville with family, and then we're still counting down the days until we're in Kansas for Christmas!
