I am indeed (still) pregnant. Hooray! Much celebration throughout the land today.
The official Estimated Date of Confinement (EDC; has a nice 1950s ring to it, no?) is March 26th, 2010. This is a Friday, which would be terribly convenient given the fact that I'll still be in school. But... I know it's just an estimation.

And here's an approximation of what little Lentil the embryo might be looking like right about now (six weeks, three days - or if were in the UK I'd be saying 4 weeks, three days... but I'm not). Lentil is growing organs this week. Yay! Lentil is also sapping all of my energy. The midwife just reminded me to listen to my body, which was good to hear. Sleep when you're tired, eat when you're hungry, stop working out when your body tells you to stop. (On that last point, though, I was thinking... what if my body tells me to stop before I even begin? Hmmm.)
Okay, back to work. Evaluating kids for early kindergarten admission, planning lessons for middle schoolers, and then doing work for which I get paid. Whew!
