Getting better all the time.

Things are going well for us here. My mouth seems to be healing quite well so far. Jonathan and I have the medication schedule under control, and it only hurts a little bit as the window for the painkillers starts to close. But I'm also starting to stretch that window as much as I can, since I'll need to be cognizant at school this week and I'll need to survive without strong medications.

We've taken it pretty easy this weekend. We had lunch at Elmo's on Saturday, where I was anticipating a series of soft side dishes but I was disappointed to discover that they don't serve mashed potatoes until dinnertime. I settled for some portabello mushroom soup and applesauce. Today we went over to Jonathan's cousins' place for a delicious (and chewable) lunch and also delicious apple cider and pumpkin pie! We got to see our favorite little munchkins, play a game, and pass out in a nice vicodin coma. Oh wait, that last part was just me. But it was very nice.

And so it goes... We're looking forward to Thanksgiving, where we have some VERY low-key plans that we're really quite excited about. And then we'll start to gear up for Christmas and guests as the semester winds down. It'll happen before we know it!
