We finished the 10-mile run.
**Update**
Is there anything better than a weekend of tax-free shopping? Well, probably. But the timing couldn't have been better. I escaped with some much-anticipated running loot:
(One skirt, in my size, on clearance! It was as if the heavens parted and a ray of light shone down on my skirt. Sadly, all they had was black. This is how I wind up with so much black in my wardrobe... it's all that's left by the time things go on clearance.)
The price was unbeatable. The color is (sadly) not pink at all, but a variety of blues. Allow me to show my nerdy running side when I say that I've become addicted to Asics for their wide toebox and their ability to make stability and motion-control shoes that don't look awful. I ran the Lincoln Marathon in awesome pink Asics Kayanos, and the GT-2130 is a similar shoe but a little less cushy and a little less pricey. Works for me!
Feetures! Light FX socks, low rise
Mostly because the guy at the running store was almost over-enthusiastically against Thorlos (odd, since that store sells Thorlos...), I decided I'd give these moisture-wicking, no-toe-seam, feet-hugging little socks a spin. Anything's better than cotton for sweaty feet, and these should be amazing.

And finally, today's inspiration comes from Yoda: Do or do not. There is no try.
