MT: One step at a time.

This morning's run was the comfortable run for three minutes and walk for two minutes pattern - kicked up a notch by repeating the cycle eight times instead of the usual seven. It was a good run. My left ankle decided to tough it out and seems to be getting stronger (it was giving me grief during the timed 5k over the weekend - so much so that I decided to cut my run short and stretch). My training partners are doing great, and I think we might all be on the verge of investing in some fun running gear soon. You can only run in old shoes and cotton clothes for so long.

Next week we'll be attending the Carolina Godiva Track Club's Marathon Training 2008 Kickoff! I can't wait. Today's inspirational thought comes from Steve Prefontaine: "Having a true faith is the most difficult thing in the world. Many will try to take it from you."
