Dear Thesis...

Watching you develop and grow has been incredible. You kept me up all night. You made me cry. You made me laugh. You gave me reason to compare your growth and milestone-achievement with my colleagues' theses. You taught me about myself. You reminded me to be more patient, to be kind to myself, to work hard, and to ask for help.

Oh, little thesis, you grew up so fast. It will be bittersweet to hand you off to the committee on Friday. But we will always have each other. And I promise to defend you against any attacks.

Love,
Your author

P.S. I'm letting my friends and family see you for themselves, for the first time. Don't be scared, thesis. I love you just the way you are.

Perhaps it goes without saying that I haven't been sleeping well lately and I'm getting delirious?

Well, delirium not withstanding, if your skill at writing your blog is any indication - your little baby thesis will rock out loud. I love to read you. Think I'll go read some more...xoxomom

I'm still reading it. So far so good. Just need more time without L in tow to focus on it.
