Weekend Madness.

We filled this weekend as full as it would go.

Friday: Jonathan at work all day, Chelsea cleans the house. We also picked up my car from the shop... That evening we saw Michael Buble at the Sprint Center in KC with Jonathan's parents. His opening act was Naturally Seven, a beatbox group from NYC. That was kinda weird. But Michael was great.

Saturday: Woke up, contemplated finishing my mid-term, and instead prepped lots of fondue dippers. We went to my brother and sister-in-law's place to hold little Felix. He is perfect. Much more alert than he was in the hospital.
We also met Danger Kitty - the runt of a litter that Lisa's cat had a while ago. I love him.
We came home and started the real setup for the party. I didn't take a picture of the fondue, but it was amazing. We had a cheese fondue and a black and white chocolate fondue (dark and white chocolate marbled together). Then we had dippers: apples, pears, bread, pretzels, graham crackers, brownies, Nilla wafers, strawberries, bananas, and marshmallows. The night ensued with lots of Rock Band playing, a few rounds of Apples to Apples, and good times all around.

Sunday: Well, it's 4:06 PM here. We have a messy house. Earlier I met my friend Katie and her friend Brittany for coffee. Then I drove home with the windows down and basked in the beautiful day. Now I'm thinking about laying down to read... It's a recovery day from an action-packed weekend. But it was great.
