But today in the real world... I found myself waking at the ridiculous hour of 4:00 AM to get ready for some data collection with the soccer team. They practice at 6 AM. How do they do that? I brought my research assistants some coffee and we managed to get enough participants to call this the final data collection endeavor. Hooray! I can smell the bound thesis at the end of the tunnel.

Also, we finally decided to hook up this fancy TV we won a while back and I'm AMAZED! We get like 3x the channels we had before (and we're old-school with the rabbit ears and none of that cable schmable). The channels are divided up, like there are 5 channel 16s (16-1, 16-2, etc.). Well, channel 16 is strictly the religious broadcasting stuff, but the other ones are great! And the picture is super clear. I love it. I'm also a firm believer that broadcast (or now digital? but free digital) TV is more than sufficient. You can Netflix everything else and you're set!
