Gobble Gobble

Yep... blogging from work. It's the day before Thanksgiving, and it's snowing and only getting colder out. Would you come to an appointment? Probably not. No one else is. So I'm all caught up on my paperwork, just waiting for my last appointment to not show. I've decided that I quite like these Vaio laptops - my co-intern has one and it's nice.

Tonight we're packing up the car and driving to Nebraska for Thanksgiving with Jonathan's extended family (now also known as my in-laws!). I think this will be my 8th Bartel Thanksgiving. Yep. And the only things on the to-do list for the next four days are: eat pumpkin pie, play Settlers, and take lots of naps.

Once Thanksgiving is over, the end-of-semester crunch arrives. Though I've completed my application for NC State (Due on Dec. 15), I still have some arranging and priority shipping to do for my app. to the Univ. of Nebraska- Lincon (Due Dec. 1). Iowa and KU aren't due until January. Now you know!

The current favorite song is "Black and Blue" by Counting Crows. Have a listen.
