Today is the first day of school for the kiddos. Gideon is a Monito (little monkey) and Evelyn is an Osito (little bear). I can't believe it, really. It's Evelyn's last year of preschool!
Gideon's lead teacher is Ms. Cristina, who Evelyn had from the time she was an infant until she moved to the Sapitos class this past year. So we've had a year without Ms. Cristina, but we're so excited to work with her again. Evelyn's lead teacher is Ms. Iris, who has been teaching preschool for something like 20 years. She has so much energy and loves to play drums and sing with the kids. The second teacher in the Ositos class is Ms. Amparo, who has been with Evelyn's group since they were Monitos - so this will be her third year with the kids. She's also an incredible teacher. We are so excited!
