Gratitude

November already?!

Inspired by friend Kelli and by the November trend of posting thanksgivings each day this month, I decided to track my gratitude too. To make it easier on myself, I'll just post something here on Sundays to sum up the week.

1. Company Milk

Milk. Acceptable when added to coffee or ice cream.

Just when I thought I struck gold with the office-provided plastic forks for when I forget to grab my own from home, I discovered that there is a jug of milk for all in the office to share. Made my day.

2. Yoga

This picture is not an accurate representation of my four-person work yoga class. But I'm in that big group of yogis somewhere!
I know, I know... you may tire of hearing how much I love my job. One of the perks is in-house semi-private weekly yoga lessons. I go on Fridays at 11 and it is SO nice. Every week I think, "You know who really needs yoga at work? Pretty much anyone working in any sort of school setting." I'm living the cozy corporate life where I have time to, you know, use the restroom. But anyway, as I was saying, yoga. Thankful for it.

3. Kansas State University

I think of thee, Alma Mater.

Yep. My Alma Mater is killing it on the football field this season and I'm thankful for the time I spent at K-State. Most of my very best friendships were formed during my time there. I love to cheer on the 'Cats, and I'm thankful that they are playing well enough to be televised on the East coast every week this year. Go State!

4. Susan Ariel Rainbow Kennedy

Come again? You might know her as SARK. Or you might recognize her work, like this:

That part about putting them in water when they're crabby? Yes.

You are amazing. Thank you for being such a great mother to two of my grandchildren (and also loving the other two!)
