Here comes Peter Cottontail...

We had a very good Easter this year! Evelyn had a long weekend since school was closed on Thursday and Friday, so I got to spend two days with both kids and it was wonderful. We caught up with a bunch of friends and their kids and tried to pack in all the playing that we could. It gave me a little taste of what I have to look forward to this summer when I'm home with both kids and I can't wait!

So on Saturday morning, Evelyn and I headed to Pullen Park where we met up with friends. One of the girls goes to a new, young church (the kids outnumber the adults) and they were hosting a breakfast, egg hunt, and train ride with the Easter bunny. Evelyn had a blast and we hung out at the park as long as we could before it was time to head back home to Jonathan and Gideon.

On Sunday, we packed up and headed to Amy and Josh's, which is now our Easter tradition since we've done it three years in a row (right? I can't fully trust my memory but I think that's right). We had a delicious lunch, an egg hunt with the cousins (Madeline, Linus, Evelyn, Julia, Gideon, and Edison), and time to just relax in the gorgeous weather and catch up with everyone. It was so good.

Litttle Mouse on her third Easter. This was the best one yet, since she really got into hunting for eggs!

Gideon's first Easter. He got worn out just watching the hunt, and proceeded to nap for the rest of the time we were there.

And now it's been two months since Gideon arrived and I still have zero pictures of all four of us in our little family. Sheesh!
