Evelyn is still adjusting to life as a big sister. Some days are rough. She wants me to hold her and she gets all frowny-faced when I'm holding Gideon. But she's always been sweet to him and she's always VERY interested in helping with everything he needs, from changing his diaper to getting him dressed, burping, rocking... you name it.
Last night Jonathan was grilling and I put down a blanket in the yard for Gideon. After helping me get the diapers off the line (and carrying in the full laundry basket all by herself), Evelyn wanted to be right next to Gideon and they just stuck together there, looking at the trees and birds. After a while she wanted to move to the hammock for her bird-watching, and she insisted that I get Gideon and put him right next to her on the hammock. She's a sweet kid. Most of the time. :)
