It's our third winter in North Carolina and I'm still not used to the panic that even a forecast of frozen precipitation induces. Seriously, people. It's not really "frigid" until the temperature is near ZERO. "Near freezing" isn't enough to justify all the excitement I see around here.That's my two cents for the day. I just had to vent about the non-event that is a teensy snow/ice "storm" and share a picture from Evelyn's nine-month photo shoot yesterday. She was pretty grouchy so I'm surprised the photographer caught this shot. I'm excited to see the rest!
Today will be spent cleaning, going to the post office to mail Christmas cards, hitting up Whole Foods for some goodies, and... that's about as exciting as it gets!
