We've been working on the office here at Casa Bartel, and I'm starting to settle in to my cozy little wasacloset desk. You can see it a little bit here. It's one of the perks of moving in to a house formerly owned by a guy who was pretty handy with woodworking projects.
But you can see from the photo that my new dissertation creation station is lacking in inspiration! (I don't even try - the brilliance just pours forth from my fingertips like that. My advisor is in a state of bliss every time he reads a draft, I'm certain.)
I'm kinda addicted to Quotables. I'm sure you've seen them. Simple, graphic cards and books and coasters et cetera with some killer quotations. Addicted. Like, I'm fixin' to break my compact ban and buy myself this 2011 calendar (and you know it's serious when I choose the Quotable calendar over my other love, Demotivators). But I'm also hoping to have some inspirational quotes and thoughts that I can swap out every few days just to keep things interesting.
So, do you have a couple of quotes or thoughts that you love and carry with you? Care to share with me? I'm hoping to come up about 150 or so for this project. Thanks and share away!
