We're taking it pretty easy this weekend, as I'm still fighting the great mystery illness of 2010. (Today's update: the student health folks swapped my eye drops to something new - this will be the 4th thing I've tried - and told me that it sure does look like pink eye but it's not really acting like pink eye and I might have to go to an eye doc next week... and then regarding the other symptoms they said either I'm just taking a really long time to recover, or it's "early mono". Ick.)
Evelyn LOVES the pumpkins. She especially loves to gnaw on the tops of them, which makes sense because they're probably a little bit cool and they're just the right firmness for a teether. Sometimes she turns them around and starts to munch on the stem side, and then she gives me a surprised look and switches back to the punkin side again. It's as adorable as it sounds.
We hope for lots of trick-or-treaters but the neighbors say that our 'hood isn't usually major Halloween stomping grounds so we'll see!

wait a minute...didn't we spend hours researching mono when jon got it in high school? didn't we determine that since you didn't, you'd already had it as a 'cold' as a child?
