Reunion

We celebrated Evelyn's four-month out of womb survival with a baby fest!

This morning we attended the delayed reunion of our Bradley Birth Class. I probably mentioned way back in October or something that the Bradley Method is a birth education program designed to empower women and their "coaches" (often husbands) to have well-informed, as natural-as-possible births. Of course, sometimes... well, pretty much every time... birth doesn't go exactly as planned. So the women in my class, like me, had various interventions to help our wee ones arrive and keep us all healthy. It was really good to hear all of these couples' birth stories - to hear how they made informed decisions and leaned on one another and found strength in so many ways. I'm inspired by the women in my class and still smiling thinking about all the love within the couples in our class.

And the babies?! Get out of town. Gorgeous geniuses, every one.
