I'm waiting for 2:30 today, when we get some news.
In the meantime, I'm trying really hard to stay in bed like I'm supposed to. But it's difficult when everything in me says "Walk around! It will speed labor! Do laundry! The baby has nothing to wear home from the hospital! Drink more water!" Okay... so I could drink water in bed. But the other things? Not so much. I snuck out of bed to do some laundry this morning because I just couldn't resist.
Yesterday when Jonathan returned from his errands, he came back with a Pack 'n Play in tow! I was telling him that the Pack 'n Play was the only thing I though we could really use right away when Baby B comes home, so that (s)he can sleep near us in the bedroom, but that we needed to get on top of borrowing one. Then he just went ahead and bought one! He's the best, I tell you. He's also been doing a phenomenal job of taking care of me.
Wow. I might have just had the most painful contraction yet. 4:44 AM.
I'm not sure when most people start their clocks for their "I was in labor for X hours" timer. I mean, I guess I could start mine now? It's so subjective.
Alright, more updates later I'm sure. This bedrest thing gets a bit boring after a while.
