I'll try to remember to take a photo, but I make no guarantees. My brain is mush.

We had a loooooong appointment this morning - I think they forgot about me chillin back in the exam room with the belts on for the Non-Stress Test. I got to listen to lots of Baby B heartbeats and see the register make little mountains when I had contractions. All very exciting. Baby B is doing great, my contractions are still pretty random and not that noticeable. The bad news was that my blood pressure was high today! Boo for that. I don't have any symptoms to go along with the BP (like swelling, headaches, spotty vision, etc.) but it's no fun to have the pressure spike when I've been trying to control it. Some things are not in my control.

Luckily we had Allison, the most laid-back midwife ever, today. She reminds me a lot of Candy Finnigan, my favorite person from Intervention. She was pretty chill and just said that "one high blood pressure reading does not pre-eclampsia make" and told me to take it easy and come back next week. So that's the plan. In the meantime, I get to start the Evening Primrose Oil regimen to try to get things moving. Yay! And I made all of my remaining appointments for the Birth Center today. So it was good.

Now I'm off to get my hair cut and then relax a little before the weekend's Interview Day festivities kick in.
