A very merry Christmas.

Merry Christmas!

We have spent the first part of our trip in Perry, Kansas (and nearby Lawrence) with my mom, brother, sister-in-law, and our nephew Felix. And wouldn't you know that my Christmas wish for SNOW came true. Very, very true. It started snowing around 4 on Christmas Eve, and didn't stop until about noon on Christmas day. We got about 8 inches here, with some giant snowdrifts. All day and night yesterday we couldn't tell if it was still snowing or if it was just blowing across the open fields. So pretty.

We're going to spend some more time hanging out here, just relaxing and enjoying it thoroughly. Then we'll head down to Wichita for more visiting and adventures.

Baby B is now 27 weeks old, weighing in at about 2 lb. and somewhere around 14 1/2 inches from head to heel. Jonathan wrote him/her the sweetest letter in the baby book yesterday. Speaking of the baby, though, I should probably try to get a little more sleep. My sleeping schedule, normally pretty nutty anyway, is now completely off-kilter and I wake up at 2 AM feeling good to go for the day. That could explain why I'm exhausted at 4 PM... Hm... Might need to work on that.
