We've been having a pretty stellar week thus far, and it's only Tuesday! So much to be thankful for.
Birth class was really good last night; we learned important things and even more importantly we discovered that Baby B adores birth class. We decided (s)he can sense all the other babies in the room because (s)he just starts doing backflips when we go to class.
Jonathan's hard work paid off and he was rewarded with not only a little Christmas bonus, but a PROMOTION and a raise today! Congrats Jonathan. I couldn't be happier for him and more grateful for the work he does every day.
We are both anxiously anticipating our trip to Kansas one week from tomorrow! It's the first time we've flown together with just us, which makes it much more vacation-like than driving for sure. Of course we're stoked to see family and friends. And we're even more grateful to our friends who are gathering at Hideki's house and throwing us a little baby shower - so we won't have to spend the week driving all over town meeting and greeting and instead can see everyone in one place. Isn't that incredibly awesome of them? We've got some solid friends. (And I can't wait to see all the guys playing baby shower games.)
