No photo update yet, but the little one is the size of an avocado now. Sixteen weeks. Sensitive to light, still not hearing, and as Dwight from The Office said of Pam's fetus this week, 3 ounces of pure power. (If you didn't watch the first minute or two of the first Office episode this week, I think you should go here. So true.)
We've had a pretty busy day as far as Saturdays go. I woke up around 6 and got to work on a poster that I'm presenting Monday at the annual conference for the North Carolina School Psychology Association. Nothing like procrastination. Once that was finished, we headed to Raleigh to visit the Carolina Parent's Baby Fair at Marbles museum. It was pretty small and not too busy, but we got some good information on childcare options that we'll need to check out. We also won our choice of a whole bunch of door prizes! Jonathan takes credit for the win, since things like this happen to him all the time. It was difficult to choose but in the end we passed up a ton of baby toys, some museum passes, and some organic baby treats for a nice little stack of board books, a coffee table book, and some baby legs!
After the fair, I got sick in the car - my motion sickness bag stolen from the plane back in August came to the rescue! Since then it's been me and my old buddy the toilet all day. Hence the lack of pictures today. But I'll try for tomorrow!
