Home... for a sec.

We are home from the weekend away! And by away, I really do mean AWAY. In what felt like the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. Ocracoke Village is cute and tiny and we walked all over town, tried some tasty North Carolina wild shrimp, bobbed in the ocean, and I got to go to bed and wake up at 8. Glorious.

Tomorrow is Tuesday, which brings my first unofficial appointment at the Women's Birth and Wellness Center. I've been going there for a few months for general care and this appointment was already scheduled, but they'll throw in a free pregnancy test just to confirm that I'm still pregnant tomorrow. After that it's another month until the true initial prenatal appointments can begin.

And then early Wednesday morning I'm off to Kansas! I am so excited to see my college girls again! Kim is having her bachelorette party in Manhattan, and even though I'll be drinking water and juice, I'm stoked to see Aggieville and how my Little Apple has grown up since I visited last (which I think was for my own bachelorette party... time flies!). After Kansas I'm back home in the nick of time to do a week-long study skills workshop for middle schoolers though our clinic at school, more work on the side where I can, and then school begins in earnest! Eek! Summer is coming to a screeching halt before my eyes.

I'll try to share pics from our little vacation, but I must warn you that my turnaround time for film cameras is about one year on average.
