For the curious, here's the plan for me this fall:
Monday: work in the psychoeducational clinic all day (testing, interventions with kids, etc.)
Tuesday: clinic, "Families" class (two textbooks are seen in my shelf over to your right - defiant teen and Keepin' On), school-based practicum group supervision, and more clinic
Wednesday: spend the day at a local school working with the school psych there, then class - Cross-Cultural Counseling (which gets out at 7 PM making for a really long day - yuck)
Thursday: clinic all morning, then School Psych Seminar class, then maybe more clinic for fun
Friday: work on the dissertation all day*
*I am allowing myself two more Fridays of vegetation before I enforce the dissertation rule. I found this week that after just half of the above schedule I was beyond exhausted on Friday and my brain had turned to mush.
I am excited for the semester but always nervous about the amount of work to be done between now and Thanksgiving! Everything will basically be finished for me before Thanksgiving break, since classes end for winter break on December 3rd and I don't have finals. Yippee!
