So far, so good.

We survived the drive from North Carolina to Kansas nearly unscathed. All people were fine. The car was fine. The sole casualty was my camera, which we suspect was left at a rest stop in Kentucky in a haze of midnight rest-stopping.

Thankfully, my mom had a camera and took some shots in Lawrence while we hung out there for a bit. Then we borrowed Jonathan's mom's camera for the weekend so we could capture our time with friends and family here.

I'll do more in the way of posting pictures when we return home, but here are a couple favorites from today. We touched the Leprechaun hands at The Artichoke, and I think they've brought some luck. We got to see Kim and talk weddings with her, which makes me super excited for our next drive to Kansas for her wedding in October.

The majority of the day was spent getting ready for, being in (Jonathan), and celebrating for JR and Chelsea's wedding. Not sure why I have crazy eyes here, but I think we clean up well nonetheless.

Tomorrow begins with breakfast at The Donut Whole, and I see a long afternoon nap in my future.

But for now, it's time for a LAN party. Rock Band, random gaming, file sharing, conversation, drinks, gummy bears... with about 15 of our good friends.
