Wednesday, July 15th
- 5:00 PM : With the car loaded (glass milk bottles for my friend's wedding in October, branches for said wedding, Jonathan's brother, Jonathan's tux for the July wedding, snacks and caffeine for the guys...), depart from Cary, NC.
- 5:15 PM - midnight: Drive. Drive. Drive. Stop only when absolutely necessary. Be thankful for 50+ mpg.
Thursday, July 16th
- 12:01 AM - 11:30 AM: Drive. Drive. Drive.
- 12:00 - 2:00 PM: lunch in Lawrence with whomever can make it from Chelsea's family
- 2:00 - 5:00 PM: Drive to Jonathan's parents' house in Wichita
- 5:00 - 5:15 PM: Drop off Jonathan's brother and do a quick change into decent clothes for a wedding rehearsal
- 5:15 - 5:45 PM: Drive to Andover. Arrive at church for wedding rehearsal.
- 6:00 - 10:00 PM: Wedding rehearsal and dinner. Andover. Try to stay awake.
- midnight: A Midnight showing of the new Harry Potter? Or, for me, sleeping in the theater. Followed by sleeping at Hideki's brand new house in West Wichita.
Friday, July 17th
- (tentative) Chelsea has breakfast with Renee and Jamie and tours not one but two brand-spanking new homes. This would be stops 2 and 3 on the tour of homes.
- Lunch with the guys, I assume. Let's Be Frank?
- Sometime during the day Chelsea gets to see her friend Kim, driving in from Ellsworth to make a covert wedding-related exchange. I supply milk bottles and branches and I get a sweet bridesmaid dress in return! This is all in preparation for the October wedding of 2009: Kim and Michael.
- The evening's festivities include a wedding, a reception, and the start of the Marlatt 3 Summer LAN party at Hideki's house. The LAN ensues throughout the evening. Perhaps there will be time during the day for stops 4 and 5 on the homes tour: Brian and Kael's recently-purchased abodes.
Saturday, July 18th
- (Tentative) Breakfast with Bryan and Juli? Donut Whole? Riverside Perk? The Beacon? How to choose?
- The LAN party continues. A meal at NuWay?
Sunday, July 19th
- Sleep in as much as possible.
- Lunch with Jonathan's parents in Wichita, and then we hit the road for the long, long, long, long, long drive home.
Monday, July 20th
- Arrive in NC. Jonathan has the day off to sleep. Chelsea is scheduled to work.
