Nontraditional Thanksgiving

It's a quiet Thanksgiving for us this year, which is a first for both of us. We've been looking forward to the newness of a "just us" Thanksgiving. Our plans?
  • Catch up on laundry
  • Bake some zwieback
  • Make some Chex Mix
  • Read some articles on conjoint behavioral consultation
  • Grab Chinese takeout
  • Chill at home with a movie
I very briefly contemplated making a Turkey, but then we quickly realized that we'd have to buy one of those roasting pan things and then we'd have to make it, and then we'd need sides, and we really like Chinese so it works out well.

To our families and friends spread out all over the country and all over the world, Happy Thanksgiving! We hope to be able to see some of you soon for Christmas.

Chels and Jonathan - Chinese actually sounds pretty good for Turkey Day...although I am looking forward to the "traditional" meal here in Topeka. Maybe you should at least buy a pumpkin pie, cause that's the best part, right? ;-)

Happy Thanksgiving,
Robb

You could always go to the nearest buffet...haha! Although Chinese does sound good. I haven't had it in a long while.

Or you could get a Butterball turkey breast roast. You don't need a roasting pan for that, just a medium-sized casserole dish.
