Finally, pictures!

With the help of my technology-minded husband and his brother, it was discovered that I don't need no stinkin' camera cord to get to my pictures! SD cards are brilliant!

Today we went to Durham's Central Park for the Children's Independence Day parade. It was hot, hot, hot. We walked to the Farmer's Market area, where The Scrap Exchange had a sweet setup with tons of festive supplies for decorating wagons, bikes, strollers, etc. We went to town on Madeline's wagon (Jonathan's cousin's daughter) and it turned out great! The parade involved a little walk around the area and then concluded with free icy pops and a shower of water provided by the Fire Department. Unfortunately, uncle Jonathan was too late and he and Linus just missed out on playing in the water - they shut off the hose and sprayer just as they got to the field. We all walked back and then everyone enjoyed some relaxing quiet time in the air conditioning!

I uploaded a bunch of pictures to flickr from the move and from recent events. Enjoy!

Tonight will include our Fourth of July feast - grilled steaks, grilled fruit and veggie kabobs, a giant pitcher of homemade Sangria, and lemon icebox cake!

Happy Fourth of July!
