I was inspired by Abby's post (Reality Check) to post a picture of what my home really looks like. Not after the meticulous cleaning I like to do before anyone sets foot inside, but every day. And since we spend much more time in the office/guest room than anywhere else, I'll show you the typical state of things.

This is my desk. Jonathan's "desk chair" (which is actually a kitchen table chair) is on the bottom right. I always have a stack of textbooks off to my left, along with papers and notebooks - easy access. And I use the space between the bed and my cheap shelving system ($2 crates that have served me well for 7 years and counting) for "random junk" storage. The area is currently home to bags holding all the "random junk" that was on my desk at my internship until I started carting stuff home from internship this week.
In case that's not exciting enough, I posted a couple more "real" pics on flickr. Enjoy!
