I mean that in the best possible way. I'm about halfway through my "book report" on adolescent development, tomorrow I'll finish my take-home final for the same class, and then all I have to do is come up with a discussion question for class on Thursday and I'm finished! Well, I do still have to go to class and I have to give a presentation to a bunch of faculty on the Academic Integrity Committee... but I'm pretty much finished. Oh, and graduation regalia arrived at the bookstore today! The light at the end of this tunnel is getting very very bright.

Jonathan and I spent the weekend in Wichita to get some quality time with Linus (and his parents, and Jonathan's parents, of course). We spent Saturday at the Sedgwick County Zoo and enjoyed an awesome tour just for us, guided by the zoo's senior veterinarian, Dr. Bryant. There were many highlights, but Jonathan and I were especially amused by the River Otters, who were quite visibly mating in their habitat. The same thing happened when we visited the zoo a couple of years ago and cracked us up because we got to eavesdrop on mothers trying to explain what was going on to their inquisitive children. It was a good day, and a good weekend!
