Productivity!

We're halfway though the weekend, and making all sorts of progress:

  • Cleaned the house, top to bottom, so that some prospective renters would be impressed on their walk-through
  • Visited Felix and his parents
  • Jonathan helped my brother hang a door in his house
  • I held little Felix some more and watched wiggle and sleep
  • Finished the grocery shopping only $1.79 over-budget, thanks to Jonathan's mad addition skills
  • Painted my toenails pink (I did this... Jonathan watched A Scanner Darkly. It is a strange movie.)
  • Washed the Prius (automatic car-wash style, which conserves water)
  • Maintained my 50 mpg average that I've kept this week (in the Prius, of course)
  • Planned menus for the next couple of weeks (Look forward to some Everyday Food recipe reviews soon! Jonathan refuses to even think about eating fish tacos, though, so we won't be trying that)
  • Scanned, searched, cropped, and posted pictures on www.geni.com
  • Obsessively checked Geni for updates and new information
What's that? You noticed that even thinking about working on my thesis didn't make the list? There's always tomorrow.

In my book, planning a menu and buying groceries counts as a whole weekend's worth of work so I think you're doing fine. We have to do grocery shopping tomorrow. Yuck!

I am so impressed with 1.) The table. 2.) The grocery budget adherence. 3.)Jonathans refusal to eat fish tacos. 4.)Going to see Felix and his family.
You, clearly, are the bombs. xoxomom

I'm impressed with your 50 mpg! We took a rainy drive in the country today and are sitting at 52.6 mpg. Don't expect to maintain that very long but it is awesome! Of course we are not speedsters either...right?
