Easter Weekend

The trip to Wichita was a success. I'm in love with our wedding proof books (difficult to describe them but I'll post a pic or something), our prints, and our photographers. They have moved to a new studio and it's amazing. Too bad we won't really have another occasion to have professionals take millions of pictures until we have kids.

We celebrated Kael's birthday, ate a delicious Easter dinner, played and hung out with Jonathan's parents, and took in a few hours of the gorgeous Flint Hills as we drove.

*********
Edit: I had to share the wedding photo loot... It's not the best as far as picture-of-pictures goes, but you can see the "Willow Books" (two white bound volumes with a pic we choose on the cover and then every pic taken inside) and the album that holds 72 of our favs. Again, we can't say enough good things about T&J Studios!

********
One more update: I recently finished Reviving Ophelia and The Almost Moon. Someone tell me why I read these sad books. Good, yes. But not relaxing. So the next book I start, which really should be after I defend, must be light and refreshing. But still well-written. Now taking suggestions.

everytime we're home, i get a little teary-eyed when we drive through the flint hills. soak in as much of them as you can. all these stinkin' trees here in nc get in the way of enjoying nice views of the horizon!
exactly, Amy! Down with trees! Up with open skies!

man your blogs make me happy. i know so much of what you speak. I'm glad you enjoy the Flint Hills as much as you do, which just coincidentally seems to be just as much as I do.
