Yesterday I was supposed to go to Iowa to interview for their program, but I decided against it on Tuesday when I heard from NC State. It's a good thing, too, because I ended up sleeping until 4 P.M. yesterday, and then I still woke up all achy and sleepy. After another 14 hours of sleep last night, I was able to stay awake for a few hours this afternoon before again falling asleep from 4-6. I did manage to stay awake last night for an awesome dinner of wine, cheese fondue, fresh bread, and fruit with my brother. That was a nice reprieve from all the sleep.
Jonathan and I were slated for a date night this evening, whipping up some chicken with avocado salsa and then heading out to see Semi Pro... I was able to stand and stay awake long enough to make the chicken, and then we decided to stay in and watch The Bourne Supremacy. The chicken was good (why do I never have the illnesses that involve losing my appetite?). I started falling asleep during the movie, so I decided to come check the email to stay awake a little longer.
Jonathan's such a good caretaker of a sick, whiny Chelsea. My whole body just aches and I could sleep for the next few days I think. But he wakes me up with cold juice and tylenol and rubs my feet and even takes the risk and gives me kisses.
Next weekend we're going to the Michael Buble concert at the new Sprint Center in KC, and the next night we're hosting the Rock Band & Fondue party, so I suppose I should gather my sleep while I can. School's about to get pretty awful too. Yuck. But graduation will be worth it! Okay enough babbling. Time to sleep.
