I was running low on patience and high on anticipation this morning, so I decided to be the annoying applicant who calls the school and asks what's going on. The lady at NC State, bless her heart (did I get that right, Abby or Adrian?), told me that they haven't even started to review the files! She really was nice though. She did tell me that they won't send any letters out until "sometime in February." Thus, while I'd like to have a definitive answer, at least it's not a "no" from them yet.
