As Jonathan reported, we bought a new trash can. Here it is in all of its glory:
I bet you're thinking, "Oh my, what work. So many smudges and fingerprints will need to be cleaned off continually." But the brilliant trash can is smudge and fingerprint-proof. It's pretty cool. We also ordered our extra fluffy bathroom rug. Hooray us.

Also, I discovered this World Clock today. It tracks all kinds of things - go check it out and be shocked at how quickly the military expenditure adds up. You can track things like births, deaths (broken down by cause), bicycles produced, species extinct... by the year, month, day, hour, and even second.
