Today is the first day of Winter, and the weather has cooperated beautifully. It's been snowing all day long. This is a what we see from our back deck... A little tranquil pocket in the middle of town.
We've been in the Christmas spirit all day. We started the day by staying in bed for as long as possible, watching the snow fall. Then we braved the thundersnow conditions (there was lightning and thunder with the blizzard-like blowing snow) to run to the grocery store. Jonathan did some last-minute shopping, and then we watched A Christmas Story and contemplated baking some cookies...
